Icons are made in the traditional way, on limewood or beechwood.
The halos are in real 23-carat gold leaf, as are some of the backgrounds (on request).
The pigments are either real earths or oxides, applied in tempera (egg yolk).
The price represents the time taken, and is generally calculated according to the size of the plate, the gilded surface and the complexity of the icon.

I work to order with prayer intentions.
The format of the plate can be adapted to suit the budget of the individual or a group (parish, family, etc.).
Payment can be spread over several months. The procedure is to first validate a project, agree together on a deposit cheque and a deadline.
